What type of lab is F/S?

F/S is an invite only residential lab for 15 to 25 people. It is not project-based.

What is the selection criteria?

Putting together a group that is a good range of creatives from different artforms, countries, stages of career, non-fiction & fiction. 

When will you notify those who have been accepted?

We will give you two-four months notice in regards to the date and the secret location.

How is F/S funded?

F/S is for creatives by creatives. We don’t have corporate funding, and no outcomes we need to produce for investors. We receive some financial support from the Digital Storytelling Lab, Columbia University. The way we’ve been able to do it is participants pay their travel to the location. We pay for local transportation, lodging, food, drink, and activities.
